3D Layer is what you've been waiting for since After Effects added 3D. Create a three-dimensional layer with visible 'thickness' that can be bent, warped, and modeled. Your 3D layer is shaped and animated by grayscale maps, and uses a true mesh as an easy, familiar method for distortion and animation. Texture the layer on any side with movies, stills or pre-comps; punch holes in the mesh; or model its outside edge. 3D Layer is powered by Conoa's raytracing rendering engine, to provide beautiful reflections, refractions, and high quality renders. No matter how you push this plug-in, 3D Layer makes it easy to create 3D effects that previously have needed a dedicated program. 3D Layer works in After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Combustion.
